Butterflies of Hope Studio is located in Prairieville. It is an all white studio space filled with beautiful natural light. It is the perfect setting for creating timeless portraits. We shoot lifestyle sessions as well as formal posed sessions in the studio.
Our team has been created to provide an exceptional photography experience for all of your photography needs.
We will take you from your proposal, engagement and wedding all the way to starting your family with maternity, newborn and first year packages. We love capturing all of the school age years as well as senior and college graduates.

What’s Included:
There is no set time on when a maternity session should be scheduled. I suggest scheduling when you are happy with your bump size. I hear some mommas say that they don't want maternity pictures because they do not like the way they look pregnant and that makes me sad because it is such a Blessing to be pregnant and maternity is so beautiful. Besides, you won't be pregnant forever. It's your legacy and you may want to share these maternity portraits with your children someday! So go ahead... schedule your maternity session!

What’s Included:
When you schedule a newborn session with Butterflies of Hope Photography, you are in good hands. Heather worked as a registered nurse for over 20 years and is very good at observing your new baby throughout the session. She pays close attention to baby's coloration making sure that the baby's temperature is maintained and that wraps are not too tight causing restrictions. She has also taken training in newborn posing safety and has been certified by APNPI. She utilizes an assistant for newborn sessions to spot the baby at all times during posing. Newborn safety is always our top priority! It is important to know that every infant is different and they have likes and dislikes from the time they are born. If a baby does not seem to like a pose and does not easily settle, we will not push a baby to do a pose. I promise we will get plenty of goodness anyway.
We have TONS of wraps, props, teeny tiny outfits, hats, bonnets, headbands, etc. You do not have to bring anything but the baby. However, if there is something you would like to bring to incorporate in the pictures, you are more than welcome to do so!

What’s Included:
Milestone Sessions are done throughout a baby's first year to capture the milestones they reach along the way. Time goes by so fast and it is hard to remember the first year! The changes happen so quickly and you can't ever get them back... all of the tiny features of the newborn... tiny ears, toes, fingernails, peach fuzz and hairy ears... the 3 month first smiles and tummy time, 6 month tummy time and pushing up, trying to sit and roll and that emerging personality... 9 months pulling up, crawling, and one year walking and cake smashing. It is a year of greatness that I promise you will want captured!
Milestones
At the One Year Session, you are more than welcome to add on the cake smash option! The cake smash is the perfect way to wrap up baby's first year! This can be stressful for parents to get everything together and to the studio, so we offer options to make this super easy. We love working with you to bring your theme to life. Our most popular cake smash add on is the Boutique option which includes a cake from specialty bakery, cake topper, themed props, balloons, set-up, clean-up and bubble bath for baby clean up - includes photos of bubble bath - towel and washcloth available as well. When you come for the session, we will have everything set-up and ready to go. My team cleans up the mess, packs the dirty clothes in a bag to take home and you are good to go!

Our portrait sessions may be done in studio, on our studio grounds or on-location. We offer classic portrait sessions with a 1 hour shooting time which allows time for an outfit change. Our mini session is a short 20 minute session and includes one outfit.
