All of my life, I have loved taking pictures. My husband and my three children inspire me everyday, and I know, with time passing by so quickly, I want to capture every moment.
My decision to retire my 20 year nursing career and become a full time photographer was finalized when my sister suddenly passed away at 39 years old, leaving behind 4 children...the youngest being only 2 at the time. It was then that I realized my calling for capturing connections amongst family. I had taken images of my sister with her newborn baby. The immediate connection between mother and daughter radiates through the portraits. These will be a life long treasure for her little girl to look back on...they are proof of just how much her mom loved her. It is my HOPE that the moments captured through my photography will bring you joy and BUTTERFLIES for years to come!
Life is short, time is fleeting...our time here is uncertain.

Hi there! I’m Kate, the lead photographer for weddings and events at BOH, as well as the marketing manager. In 2021, I graduated from Nicholls, a small town college in Thibodaux, La, with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved special moments and events. Whether writing down the moments or taking photos on my phone, it was always of the utmost importance to me that I remember every single detail. When following in my mom’s footsteps with photography, I developed the dream and passion of wedding photography. Photographing special moments throughout my clients’ lives fuels my fire and makes me just the happiest girl! It is my number one goal that my couples get to relive their wedding day, every detail, for the rest of their lives! I strive to make my couples and their families feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful during this major season of their lives.
