I get this question all of the time!  There is no standard time to take maternity portraits. I advise taking them when you are happy with your bump size.  You don't have to wait until the end of your pregnancy.  I would say, don't wait until the very end of your pregnancy incase you would go into labor early and miss having them taken altogether.
